⭐️わたしは誰になりたいのだろう？⭐️

自分勝手な本能を克服しようとするのは、人間の基本的衝動です。わたしたちは、社会的な関係、個人的な関係、そしてまた親密な関係を通して、それを知っています（ビジネスでは実践することがなくても！）。
あまり意識されないことですが、すべての言語の進化の面でも、言語が発達していくとき、言語そのものは、なるべく注目を浴びないよう、より私たちが言いたいことを知ることができるよう、私たちに仕（つか）えます。私たちが、言語を使うとき、このもう一つの面があるのです。より効果的な話し手や書き手であろうとするとき、私たちは、自分の人格が主観的にあらわになるような表現はなるべく避け、自分の考えがより客観的に理解されるようなスタイルを開発しようとします。
混沌として見えるジェンダー・ディスフォリア（自分の性への違和感）やジェンダー流動性を持つ多くの人々にとっての真のアイデンティティ獲得のための奮闘は、一見、ひどく自己中心的で、自分勝手にさえ見えます。しかし、本質的には、それは真の個としてのアイデンティティ獲得のための奮闘です。「私は誰？」と「私は、誰になりたいのだろう？」という問いは、今まで受け継がれてきた、そして今でも主に大勢に受け入れられている、集団化（グルーピング）と分類とへの力強い挑戦です。無私無欲になるためには、まず、私たちは、自分「自身」が何者であるか、の体験が必要ですが、それは、必然的に自分勝手なふるまいになります。
現代の多様なジェンダーの多くのグループや、サブ・グループの全般的な状況を見れば（LGBTQIAと、その他にも！）、他者との識別を必要としているのは明らかですし、さらに自分を既存の分類から識別しようとすることも見てとれます。その結果として、さらに細かな識別をしていくことが、個人の肯定的確認（アファメーション）になるでしょう。現時点では、アイデンティティを真に説明するためのこの奮闘は、多くの人にとっては、ジェンダーの舞台で起こっていますが、それは、私は誰？という問いに見られる、究極的には、人種、階級、宗教、そしてジェンダーを超える、深い人間的な切望です。これは、崇高な人間の未来像です。
私たちは、このことを認識し、理解し、そうすることで、奮闘することができるでしょうか？そして、深い人間的な切望をサポートすることができるでしょうか。また、さらに、セミナーでは、これらの問題と言語との関連について探求していきます。

Overcoming our selfish instincts is a fundamental human impulse. We know this in our social and also personal and also intimate relations (even if we dont practise it in business!). What is not so obvious is that it is also an evolutionary aspect of all languages, as languages develop they draw less attention to themselves and serve more to make known what we want to say. There is also an additional aspect of this in the way we use language. As we become more effective speakers and writers we try to avoid expressions that subjectively reveal our personality and try develop a style that makes our ideas more understandable objectively. The struggle for authentic identity for many people in what seems to be the chaos of gender dysphoria and gender fluidity at first seems terribly self-centred, and even selfish, but it is in essence a struggle for true individual identity. The questions “who am I?” and “who do I want to be?” are powerful challenges to the inherited and still largely accepted groupings and categories. In order to become selfless I have first to have my own experience of what my “self” is, that is necessarily a selfish gesture. We see that very clearly in the many groups and sub-groups in the modern multi-gender landscape,( LGBTQIA plus others!) where there is a need to differentiate, and further differentiate oneself from existing categories. The eventual result of this finer and finer differentiation will be the affirmation of the individual. At the moment for many people this striving for authentic description of identity takes place in the landscape of gender, but it is a deeply human longing to be seen as who I am, ultimately beyond race, class, religion and gender. This is a noble human vision. Can we recognise this and understand thus struggle, and support the deep human longing in it ? And there is also a further connection with language that we shall explore in the seminar.
